Too fast into therapy

I really got excited about this book, given the British setting and language, plus a well-written introduction about the protagonist’s (antagonist?) experience with fried (okay with maybe a bit intense comparisons- memory as self harm like cutting oneself? Yikes!). That said, the intro into the group therapy stuff seemed a bit too rushed and I didn’t feel compelled to keep reading after page 10. I still like the writers style (I liked the first 75% of The Silent Patient), so I will keep coming back..... just not for this title.
