Straight away, I'm intrigued by Mariana's confidence in Fosca being a murderer. She also ends the prologue with determination. I have a feeling that she will be a resilient female character, which is definitely desirable in a main character. She also shows her heartbreak over losing Sebastian. We can see her despair and lingering anguish even a year after his death. I'm interested in seeing how this book will show Mariana coping with Sebastian's death while proving her suspicions that Fosca is a murderer.

Also, the cover is exceptionally beautiful. It relates to Mariana being from Greece, Fosca being a Greek tragedy professor, and Fosca being a murderer (according to Mariana).
