Alright, another psychological thriller that had me hooked from the first page. I am dying to know how this will all be tied together. We are first introduced to Mariana who is struggling to deal with the death of Sebastian, her lover. Mariana is also a therapist who conducts group therapy with another main character, Henry. Henry's character is definitely experiencing some sort of trauma. I just found the writing to be very gripping. I loved The Silent Patient by this same author (one of my favorite books) and I think this one will be a close second, if not even better.
