This first glimpse was simply too short and yet incredibly effective at setting up the players for a deadly battle of the wits! Mariana is a perceptive group therapist who have had a less than rosy childhood. She holds deep convictions against a man she knows to be a murderer, but we do not yet know why. She is also freshly entangled in the stages of grief and may be dealing with deeply dependent and someone disturbed patient hell bent on doing a little light stalking. It would seem the stage is being set for a few misdirects, and yet it is too easy to surrender to the desire to start formulating crazy theories despite not having the complete book! I desperately want Mariana to be right, but I know this journey may not be as straight forward as it seems. I am ready to dive into this suspenseful tale and have begun setting up my mental murder board in anticipation!
