I have been a fan of Alex Michaelides since his debut book The Silent Patient. I was so excited when I heard he had a new book, and even more thrilled to see it offered here for reviewers. I would be honored to be chosen as an early reviewer for this one!
Even if Mr. Michaelides wasn't the author, the cover would have caught my attention. The statue with the eyes blocked made me wonder what sort of secrets were being covered up/kept hidden from the eyes. Reading the First Look solidified my interest. What could be more intriguing than a professor involved in murder and other mysterious deeds, all as part of a secret society? Answer: Not Much!
I can't wait to see what new surprises the author has in store for us readers with his latest book!
