My dream book! Mythology and mystery suspense in one book

I’d pass on this book based on the cover until I saw the author’s name. After reading the summary, the cover is intriguing - perhaps the cult of Maidens are blind to what’s truly happening or unseeingly charmed by a male professor. An obsessed therapist to the rescue makes it intriguing, and the undercurrent of mythology nailed it for me. Sounds likes a refreshing twist.
