I was first intrigued by the book cover as a lover of bust statues, and found the description just as enticing. My interest was not diminished but heightened after reading the first few chapters. I am wondering what role Henry will play in the story, and how his dynamic with Mariana (which already seems complex and strained) will develop. I did find it very descriptive, and in those cases I either love or dislike the book; I cannot tell this early, but I feel as though this one may end up being positive in that aspect. I cannot wait to have all of my questions answered and my curiosity satiated by reading the entire book.
