The Maidens looks like it will be an excellent read. Michaelides does an excellent job of painting subtle darkness into every page. In Mariana we have a main character that seems a little unhinged and it makes me wonder how much of her perception we can trust. If the protagonist is so unreliable what will we find in her target?
