I really enjoyed the characters seen so far in the first look! My favorite, obviously, being Mariana. She just gives off a lot of independence. I also think the concept of mixing mythology and mystery/murder together! I think that will be a very good plot. I really really am excited to read more. The first sentence was a GREAT hook and I really couldn’t keep my eyes off of the words after reading that!
