I am intrigued with the opening of Michaelides new novel--from the blurb it seems to have similarities to Donna Tartt's "The Secret History". The first few chapters end with a cliff hanger, so I'm anxious to know what is on the news. Michaelides also used the surprise factor quite successfully in "The Silent Patient", so I know the reader is in for a great and revealing read.
