First off, the cover is really pretty and intriguing. The head of an Grecian statue that is overlaid with cracks givens me a mysterious feeling. I really liked the writing style. The chapters were short but each ended on this kind of cliff-hanger feel that made me want to read more. I feel like the prologue and the rest of the chapters were entirely disconnected in terms of subject matters, so I am really interested in finding out how they relate and what happens in the rest of the book. I couldn't really get a good handle on the main character with such a short preview, but I could tell that I liked her and would want to learn more about the character. Overall, I am intrigued.
