Immediately we are thrust into a fast-paced murder mystery. I appreciate the beautiful depictions of grief amidst the thrilling action. I'm already seeing the connections between philosophy, psychiatry, and mythology, which I know will only be stronger and cleverer as the book goes on. I'm not usually a big thriller reader, but I'm completely hooked on Mariana's character and need to read the rest of this book!
