The short description on this book makes it sound intriguing. However, the selection provided does not do quite enough to draw me in. There is quite a bit of jumping around in time and space which, while connected, does not seem as if it will all be relevant. If Mariana is going to be dealing with a mystery in Cambridge, how is the tension in her group therapy session in London going to relate. And, will the story of her dead lover relate, beyond the issues of dealing with death and grief? I think the book could turn out to be good. I just do not have enough evidence to make a judgment.
