I was fortunate enough to win an advanced copy of The Silent Patient, and I watched this relatively unknown debut author skyrocket into success. I really enjoyed his first novel, and I’m excited to say that so far, I like this second novel as well. The Maidens is giving me a Skull and Bones vibe, which I love, along with interesting character prose. I am deeply intrigued by Mariana and I hope to win a copy of the Maidens so I can read more about her character.
