I love this author. I read the Silent Patient and found it to be a page-turner, full of suspense and really a thriller with the "surprise" effect. I have read lots of books in my life and I admit it is hard to generally find books that make me guessing until the end. I also love stories with unreliable narrators, although Alex's books are not books about "who did it." Who did it is revealed right on the first page. This second thriller is promising and seems is equally as good as its predecessors. I can't wait to read it in full!
