I loved Michaelides's first book, The Silent Patient, and I know I'm going to love this book too.
The writing here grips you from the start, and I find the diction and tone of the style quite beautiful. The book grabs you right from the beginning, and eases you into the plot slowly, which is made all the more atmospheric due to its pacing. I can't wait to see what the rest of the book is like; it'll be one hell of a thriller!
