The first thing that caught my eyes was the cover. You can tell a lot of thought went behind it. From the simplicity of the statue, to the detailed cracks and blood splatter at the bottom, I could tell I would love this book.
I, personally, am a huge fan of dark academia books, and have to say that this reminded me of one of my favorites. The college setting, murder plot, and mysterious characters. I cannot express how excited I am to read this!
