I LOVED The Silent Patient and I have been so excited about this book for months! The first look did not disappoint! I am totally invested in Mariana as a character and I can feel her desperation at the loss of Sebastian. Her dedication to proving Edward's guilt makes me feel like the twist that will no doubt show up later in the story will relate to her relationship with him. I'm sure I won't see the twist coming and I cannot wait to read the rest of this book. I have been looking forward to this book since I first heard about it and reading the preview only heightened my excitement. I'm sure this will be another gem from Michaelides!!
