My first impression? I need more! The author really knows how to draw you into the story immediately. Mariana has gone through quite a bit in her life and it's not stopping now. The first impression left us on a major cliffhanger. Why did Zoe want her to turn on the news? Is Henry involved in whatever is on the news? I just can't wait to read The Maidens. I need to know what happens next!
