Thank you Bookishfirst for sending an advanced copy of The Lost Girls of Paris by Pam Jenoff in return for my honest review.

Before I get started on my review, I must comment on this book’s extraordinary cover. A woman, clearly from the past, looks through a clock and sees history in the making. The cover was intriguing and inviting at the same time, providing a great first impression.

This historical fiction about brave women secret agents aiding the resistance during World War II was an excellent read. Grace Healey finds an abandoned suitcase in Grand Central Terminal. Unable to resist, she opens the case to find a dozen pictures of different women who turn out to be WWII spies. These photos take Grace on a journey of discovering the truth about these strong and courageous women.
