I am definitely on a historical fiction binge. I love love love stories about female spies. (One of my guilty pleasures is reading cozy mysteries with female sleuths). It's no surprise that I really liked this book.

I loved the juxtaposition between Grace and Marie. They are two different characters. And as hard as it is for a writer to bring one character to life, Pam Jenoff, brought both. (I will definitely be reading the Orphan Train soon). Jenoff beautifully intertwined a mystery with self-discovery. I loved how she really realistically wrote about World War 2. (so well that I could imagine myself there. That definitely took a lot of research).

I honestly can't believe that this all was based off of true events. I'm off now to look for more books about the true events to bury my nose in.
