Historical Bravery
In searching for the meaning of the accidental death of her first husband before he'd even set foot on a battlefield in WWII, Grace stumbles upon a collection of photographs of women in a suitcase in Grand Central Station. The Lost Girls of Paris is a loosely based historical fiction of Grace, Eleanor, and Marie's stories and the tale of ultimate betrayal leading to the death of many brave women. I absolutely adored this story. We don't often get to read about the heroics of the part women played and how they shaped the history of our world, so getting a peep, even fictional, is always fascinating to me. This story had it all, daring, adventure, a little bit of love, danger, sadness, and bravery. Well worth a read!
