Reminiscent of "The Alice Network" and "The Nightingale", this beautifully written book explores the story of female spies in WWII. The characters are well developed and provide three different perspectives. This first is Grace a woman who has lost her husband during WWII and is living in NYC, who has discovered a lost suitcase in Grand Central with mysterious pictures of women. The second is
Eleanor, the head of the women spies in London, who is responsible for sending the spies into France and Marie, one of the spies. The story easily moves between the three voices. and has enough of a mystery to keep you on the edge of your chair and the pages turning. This book is perfect for any historical fiction fan.
