I knew I would like this book from the description I read, and I was right! I love historical fiction, and WWII historical fiction in particular and I can tell that The Lost Girls of Paris is going another solid entry in the already crowded field of WW!! historical fiction titles.

The idea of SOE sending women to spy was so radical at the time, but it changed the way England spied during WWII. In the book, Eleanor Trigg has just started to recruit girls like Marie who were English but could speak Frech fluently enough to pass for a Frenchwomen, an absolute necessity to live as a spy in German-occupied France. I'm looking forward to seeing who else she recruits for her group, and how Eleanor's bag ends up in Grand Central Station in NYC.
