The Lost Girls Of Paris by Pam Jenoff was a very atmospheric and heart warming read. Set in such a painful period in our history, I wouldn't expect to have felt so ready to dig in to this story. But because of the flow and ease of how the story was written, I had no problem easing into events as they unfold.

I'm normally not a big fan of the back and forth chronological style of writing, but since the times weren't that far into the future, I didn't mind it so much this time around. I quite enjoyed following the journeys of these smart, and courageous women. Getting a glimpse of the part women played in WWII was eye opening. I felt a kind of pride and camaraderie seeing how resilient these women are to their circumstances. Very inspiring.

I was privileged to have had the chance to read such a wonderful story. Pam Jenoff has written a very compelling book, and captured the period so perfectly.
