After reading the first novel by Pam Jenoff, I fell in love with her sense of setting and immaculate details. The Lost Girls of Paris by Pam Jenoff is an exceptionally well-written look into the lives of female spies during the Second World War. Jenoff’s style is journalistic and alternates between the perspectives of 3 female characters, similarly to her previous novel The Orphan’s Tale. The character opening events like Grace’s loss of her husband really kept me reading this story and hoping for a happy ending, right up to the very end. If you are a fan of The Nightingale, The Alice Network, A Light We Cannot See, and Dear Mrs. Bird, I highly recommend this novel. For readers who tend to stay away from historical fiction, this novel is still worthwhile!! Loved it!!
