I'm not the biggest fan of historical fiction but I must say this really intrigued me. It had different POVs and timelines and yet it was not at the least confusing , which is a rare find in itself. I really enjoyed the characters we meet in this excerpt and it made me want more and I really wanted to read more about them.
I liked that it empowered woman in a time it usually didn't in history and the woman become a very Power important tool .
Overall, I really enjoyed the except and think it could be a really powerful read .
