Reading the synopsis, I thought this to be Nightingale 2.0. And in a way, it seems very similar, with the time period and the premise of the female spy network, but it stands out as its own story, which makes me very happy. I am always eager to read another great WW2 historical fiction. As someone who has been fascinated with WW2 for a very long time, I appreciate the intense attention to detail this author gives. It feels like the perfect amount of research went into this book, not inaccurate but not overwhelming with references to the 40s. I am excited to read this!
