I recently watched The Guernsey Potato Peel Pie Literary Society: The Lost Girls of Paris has all the elements of that acclaimed work and those who enjoyed Guernsey will love this. Its historical attention to detail is as important as the terrific characters, and intricate story line. I especially love the intro set in Manhattan, then flipping back to London. I cannot wait to.read more of Eleanor's character as being in charge of a female covert operation infiltrating the German warfront is fascinating. The cover is gorgeous, possibly the best created this year, I can't wait to read the rest of the book!
