I was caught up in the story from the first sentence and as the chapters continued, with each one from a different woman's perspective, my curiosity grew. From Grace, who found pictures of unknown women, to Eleanor, who struggles to make a difference in a war fought by men, to Marie, a young mother who happens to know French, the women seem real while caught up in events beyond themselves. I REALLY want to finish this book!!
