The cover is absolutely striking. It immediately caught my eye the second the page loaded, and even though it had other covers to compete with, it's the one that held my attention. I love the imagery of the clock, combined with the beautiful colors.

I really like the title as well. It doesn't immediately read as a historical fiction, but it sounds really lovely. It does seem to fit well with the subject matter, based on the description and the first look I was able to read.

The first look told me everything I needed to know about this book. I don't normally love historical fiction novels...but this one is amazing! I love the concept, and to be honest I don't think I would have enjoyed it nearly as much had it not been so grounded in the past. It just goes to show that we can't always let our preferences judge every single book out there.
I love the slow buildup of the introduction, and the few perspective changes they've done. I can't wait to see how they all end up merging, as right now while I have theories for it I have no proof. Regardless, it should be interesting to see where it leads next!
