I was first drawn in my the cover, which is striking and immediately caught my eye and my attention. Then I read the description of the book, and was sucked in even further. I'm a sucker for historical fiction like this, especially ones that take place during wartime. The First Impression fully sold me on this story and I can't wait to get my hands on it.
