I was drawn in from the very first chapter! A misplaced suitcase containing a mysterious pack of photos offers intrigue. And as the idea for a network of female secret agents is conceived and recruitment starts, the tension builds quickly. I sense that this will be an "edge of my chair" read, reminiscent of The Kommadant's Girl which was impossible to put down. This cover is eye catching for the famous Musée d'Orsay Clock, but what draws me in and offers atmospheric appeal, are the distant war planes flying over Paris. A good reminder of the dark days in the city's past.
