I can't speak highly enough about THE LOST DREAMER, by Lizz Huerta! This was one beautifully written novel with unforgettable characters and such an interesting premise! As someone who enjoys reading fantasy, I appreciated the world building that happened throughout the book and how the two POVs of the book together gave us a deeper understanding of the world. I myself am obsessed with the idea of dreams and I loved the nuanced role that dreaming played in the plot of the novel. I knew when I started reading that the two POVs would intertwine at some point, but I was not prepared for how that happened in the end of the book.
This was one of those books that hooked me and wouldn't let me go! As I neared the end of the book, I simultaneously wanted to hurry up and finish it to see what would happen and slow down as much as possible so that it wouldn't end. As a high school teacher and librarian, I can't wait to recommend this book to all our fantasy-loving students!
