While I'm not longer in the YA range, I believe this book would work for anyone YA and above. I like that Indir has a gift that she is trying to save while the new king is trying to change everything. I'm not sure what the other girl has to do with this story but I bet it ends up changing the whole storyline that I think will happen. It will be interesting to find out if Indir changes the king's mind or if something happens that makes him believe it all on his own. I cannot wait to find out.
