This is my first YA centered around ancient Mesoamerica and this slaps
Right off the bat, the first chapter painted a mental picture of what its like for young seers (and Dreamers) in ancient Mesoamerica. The first look gave an impression of how brave Indir and Saya will be for the rest of the book and we absolutely love to see it.
What I expect more is, aside from the setting, this book will give a bigger picture about Mesoamerican culture, lore, and myth.
And, of course, the cover looks amazing and very fitting to the story of the teenage seers. Love it!
