The opening starts in a moment of panic and kept me at the edge of my seat. Slowly the new world unfolds and I love the details and the atmosphere of the story. It’s a very suspenseful and ominous start. Suddenly switching to a completely different perspective there is fear and pain, loneliness and a grasping for compassion and joy that is only found in a world of dreams. It’s heartbreaking. But also leaves so many questions. How the two perspectives will play out and possibly intertwine is unknown but I’m instantly intrigued!

The cover art gives such a good hint of who and what the story is going to be about. With mesmerizing little details that seem to focus on the gifts the main protagonists posses.
