The Lost Dreamer by Lizz Huerta is a YA fantasy evoking ancient Mesoamerica. It's written in the first person, and switches perspective between Indir, a Dreamer, and Saya, a seer but not a Dreamer. This genre is not among my go-tos, but the excerpt seems to indicate this will be a great read for fans of YA fantasy.
