Looks to be shaping up into an exciting, feminist, Mesoamerican adventure story. I love the central theme and fantasy element: dreaming, which lets characters see visions of the future, and dive into an entire world of spirits and magic.The writing is beautiful when describing the dream world. One detail that I adored was the little frog spirits--when they're shaken off into the air they're described as growing wings. Another thing I love is the attention spent celebrating body types that aren't thin and pale.
