"The Lost Dreamer" is from first impression a stunning fantasy, exploring Mesoamerican culture, one that you don't see too much in fantasy. The prose is beautiful, and reminded me a bit of Roger Zelazny's "Lord of Light" which explored Hindu folklore in a fantasy context. I would love to see how "The Lost Dreamer" plays out, and whether it compares with Zelazny in terms of building a memorable fantasy world.
