The opening pages were full of rich description of the sacred city of Alcanzeh and its people. The tension was strong as the Dreamers prepared to meet Alcan, their king. As he begins to throw aside their traditions, I am already anxious to know the future of the Dreamers. I loved the details of the various powers and temple--water, fire, day, night. I look forward to learning more. When she dreams for the king, and sees her own death at the hands of Alcan, I was hooked.

When we shifted to Saya's POV I felt how Dream can be a wonderful limitless place and I can't wait to explore it more! I also look forward to discovering the cause of Saya's secretive, nomadic life.
