Lush, vibrant world
It is the worldbuilding that drew me in during the first two chapters of The Lost Dreamer. The description of Alcanzeh and its people are lush and vibrant. I am intrigued by the theology of this world, with its varied temples and gifts, like prophesy and healing. While I do not feel an immediate connection to either Indir or Saya, I would wager I will grow quickly attached as their secrets are revealed. This is a world I could get immersed in.
