The first few chapters of The Lost Dreamer paint a vivid fantasy world where some women Dream for Kings and a man has returned to try and take the kingdom from them. I think it’ll take me a little bit more time with the story to really sink into this new world and learn the rules, but magical political intrigue is usually fun. In addition, I’m interested to see how the author treats the mother/daughter relationships presented, as one seems abusive, but both seem to have secrets from each other.
