This first look immediately drew me in and had my invested in the 2 characters introduced: Indir and Saya. Both Indir and Sata are seers and can visit The Dream, a spirit world of sorts. Indir resides at a temple in a big city, while Saya travels from village to village with her mother who exploits her for her gift. I felt intrigue at where Indir's story was going and wanted to learn more. Saya, I genuinely feel bad for her and found that I was hoping she would immediately break free from her mother. If this pacing and character development continues through the book, it will be a fantastic read!
