I have never read a book set in Mesoamerica so I am excited about that. Its not really a place and time explored very much in literature. I found the pace of the writing a bit slow. It didn't really capture my attention. The story isn't keeping me engaged but I hope the more you read the better it is. Also, the book cover looks a bit cheap.
