The book cover is striking and definitely something that would lure me in at a bookstore to pick it up and take a look. The first look we have at this book seems intriguing enough. I have a few questions about the writing style, however, as what I can see from these brief pages, it seems overly simplistic and missing that little "oomf" that really makes a story jump from the pages. Though I am interested in the story that has been set up.
