I love the spiritual/magical system that has been set up in this book. It is interesting to see the two different sides of one ability: Indir, who is trained, and Saya, who is untrained.
The First Look also left me with many questions, such as the meaning behind Indir's vision of the king, and what Saya's necklace means. It has definitely made me want to know what happens next!
