Zombies... I mean... They... are always great.

George A. Romero at it again. He started this book. Daniel Kraus- with help of the Romero estate- finished it. Yes, it's another zombie story, I can't say that differently. But, I will say that George and Daniel keep it interesting. It tells the story of the apocalypse from the beginning through. Focusing on a few key characters throughout. So long as you are a fan of Romero and/or zombies, you'll love this book. I'd describe some of it as grotesquely detailed, the very first encounter with a zombie was one of the best scenes I've read in a while. Admittedly, it felt a little heavy-handed with descriptions and details that were over the top which caused it to be a rather slow read at times but overall it's great. A must read!
