Honestly what first called to me was the name George A. Romero. He's been one of my favorite directors since I first saw Night of the Living Dead followed by the rest of his Dead series. Then the cover! But when I saw how big the book I was, I have to admit, I was a little scared! Don't worry, though, because the book is awesome!
There are plenty of zombie scenes for all the zombie fans but this story has more to it than that. There is heart and there are character driven scenes that will latch on and won't let go! The writing was very well done with awesome dialogue in a world that is both scary and captivating. I mean, what would you do if your world was overrun by zombies? Highly recommend this one!
