This book have a very slow start, it felt like the first half of the book are all about backgrounds, cause and effect kind of thing. The action didn't start until the second half. And when it picked up, it was phenomenal. Yes it may sounds like more of Worl War Z but this one provided a very solid back story and the sequences are easier to understand. All the characters have been presented and developed well. And the zombies are very creepy. Each sections were descriptive and tied up together. Zombies and apocalypse..who would not like to read that. I knew Romero to be a pioneer on this genre and he nailed it again on this book. Like I said, it have a slow start so dont give up. Once it picked up, it is very interesting.
